The 48-year-old presenter recently took a cheeky swipe at Phillip, 47, by naming him as one of the things she wouldn't want to find in her house, fuelling circulating rumours that there are tensions between the pair who, on occasions, presented 'This Morning' together.

Now, the 'Britain's Got Talent' judge has claimed that she extended an olive branch to Phillip, 57, by suggesting they meet over coffee to iron out any differences, however, Amanda claims he ignored her invitation and never replied to her text message.

Appearing on her Heart Breakfast radio show on Monday (24.06.19) her co-host Jamie Theakston asked: "You might have moved on but I just wanted to know, is there any more to the story?"

Amanda then replied: "I did offer to meet him for a coffee months ago, he didn't reply to my text. What can I say?"

Jamie then said: "The olive branch had been extended."

To which she replied: "Oh, yes."

Amanda was previously the favourite to step in for Holly Willoughby, Phillip's regular 'This Morning' co-host, at the end of last year when she went to Australia to present 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' with Declan Donnelly in place of his regular co-star Ant McPartlin, who was taking time out of his showbiz career to recover from alcohol dependency.

However, the job eventually went to Rochelle Humes and Amanda was axed from presenting on the programme.

Jamie went on to question whether Amanda and Phillip could reconcile in the style of Katy Perry and Taylor Swift - who recently patched things up while dressed as a burger and fries in the video for Taylor's single 'You Need To Calm Down' after a long-standing feud over back-up dancers.

He asked: "In a kind of Katy Perry/ Taylor Swift moment, will there maybe be a burger and fries moment for you guys?"

However, Amanda replied: "I doubt it. I'm a vegetarian, Jamie."
