The 51-year-old star - who is best known for her role as a judge on 'Britain's Got Talent' - will reportedly join forces with the former 'Chatty Man' host, 45, after becoming "hot property" at the broadcaster following her stint on 'I Can Hear Your Voice.'

A source said: "Amanda is hot property at the BBC right now. Her next big show is with Alan [Carr.] They created the concept themselves and pitched it. They will be seen doing up an amazing property in Italy and transforming it from a shell into a house of dreams."

The insider went on to explain that the pair have an "amazing chemistry" on screen together and claimed that the show will be a "fun and fizzy" version of shows on Channel 4 such as 'Location, Location, Location', previously fronted by Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer.

The source told The Sun newspaper's TV Biz Column: "Imagine Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer but fuelled by fizz and fun. It will be a must for fans of property and travel shows!"
