The 24-year-old ‘Love Island’ winner left the military endurance show after 48 hours.

A source told The Sun newspaper's TV Biz column: “Amber is by no means a wimp, but she just couldn’t hack it any longer. She’s a reality star turned fitness expert and she couldn’t stay any longer than two days. She was gutted but couldn’t carry on.”

Amber was not the first one to bow out from the Channel 4 reality TV show, as former ‘The Only Way is Essex’ star Pete Wicks, 33, is also said to have departed after just one day after on “medical grounds” after breaking a rib.

The source said of the ‘Celebs Go Dating’ star: “Pete really hurt himself, and had to withdraw on medical grounds. Doing some of the stuff the directing staff want you to do with a broken rib is just not possible. They both got an early flight home to the UK.”

The show is currently filming in Middle East country Jordan.

Typically, the programme - which features ‘EastEnders’ actress Maisie Smith, 20, ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ star Ferne McCann, 31, and Olympic athlete Dwain Chambers, 43, on the current series - takes place on the Isle of Raasay in Scotland.

Last month, it was revealed former US Special Forces operator Rudy Reyes, 50, has been named as the new Chief Instructor on the Channel 4 show - taking the place of Ant Middleton - and former US Navy SEAL Remi Adeleke has joined the programme as a new DS (Directing Staff) alongside existing stars Foxy (Jason Fox) and Billy (Mark Billingham).

The celebrity edition of the show debuted in 2019 - after the one for civilians started in 2015 - and has been won by former Chelsea FC player Wayne Bridge,41, Paralympian Lauren Steadman, 28, and musician Locksmith, 37.
