The 42-year-old TV star is currently getting treatment after being arrested for drink driving in March, and the last of his pre-recorded episodes of the ITV show aired tonight (26.05.18) as the judge's made their decisions regarding the semi-finalists.

Speaking to one lucky contestant, he said: "Howay the lads. Well done. Go and celebrate - we'll see you next time kidda. Toot toot."

It marks Ant's last show of the series, as it was previously revealed his presenting partner Dec Donnelly, also 42, would be going solo for the live episodes.

Elsewhere on the show, the panel - made up of Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams - saw one final round of auditions.

Amongst the standout acts were horror dance troupe Futinity, who limped onto the stage in creepy zombie makeup, leaving the judges wide-eyed as they danced to a medley of pop hits.

David said: "This was a fantastic idea, brilliantly executed so well done!"

Simon was also impressed, joking that "the undead have four yeses".

He even got up on stage for comedy dance act Murray Mint, as he and David both joined a conga line during the last audition of the series.

It was then over the four judges as they whittled down 182 acts to just 40 for the upcoming semi-finals.

Things certainly got tense, with David reminding the panel they were picking potential winners rather than "nice" people.
