The 45-year-old star - who is to marry Anne-Marie Corbett this summer - was joined by his TV co-host and best man Dec Donnelly, entertainer Jonathan Wilkes and 13 other close friends for an alcohol-free celebration at a members-only golf club.

An insider told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Ant was having the time of his life, he and Dec were laughing and joking all the way around.

"You could tell there was friendly competition between them, but they were still whooping each other on when one of them played a specially good shot.

"Ant had a really good time. It was the perfect day for golf."

The pals - who were wearing matching blue polo shirts - gathered in groups of four for a six-hour game at Bearwood Lakes golf course in the south of England.

After finishing the 18 holes, the group then enjoyed a four-course meal which was prepared for them by a Michelin-starred chef.

Dec toasted his best friend, but there was no booze on the menu.

Ant has been sober since 2018, following a second rehab stint, and his recent stag was a bit different to his first one in 2006 - ahead of his wedding to Lisa Armstrong - when he ended up waking up in a McDonald's restaurant in London dressed as a French maid.

He previously said: "You know when you've been drinking all day and you have that one moment of clarity, and I came to dressed as a French maid in McDonald's just off Regent Street."

As well as a booze up in London, Ant - who proposed to Anne-Marie over the festive period - was treated to a trip to Riga, the capital of Latvia.
