The 'Strictly Come Dancing' pro has turned maître d' of the 'First Mates' diner - which is a take on Channel 4's dating show 'First Dates' - and given advice to two canines hoping to see out their dog days with each other.

The skit - which celebrates the launch of Boomerang's new animated pug show 'Mighty Mike' - features Paul, a pug dog who finds work impersonating Mighty Mike, and his date Emma, an adorable shihtzu who is unimpressed with her date's bad table manners.

Anton said: "There really is nothing better than a best mate, so it was an absolute pleasure to host the 'First Mates' doggy diner as maître d' to launch 'Mighty Mike' on Boomerang.

"It was fantastic to be a part of a project that captured the essence, and sometimes hilarity, of finding a special someone, whether you're a dog or a human."

'Mighty Mike' follows the story of a pug named Mike who wants to seduce his crush, Cindy - the neighbour's dog - but unluckily, his pesky neighbours try to ruin his plans.

In celebration of the launch, members of the public and their pooches are invited to be wined and dined at the real-life version of the 'First Mates' diner - which is set in the M Victoria Street restaurant in London on Saturday May 4th.

During the course of this romantic lunch, pups and people will be treated to a 'Mighty Mike'-themed two-course meal plus complimentary drink.

To finish, customers will be given a special doggy bag to takeaway and remember the experience.

Tickets to the First Mates Doggy Diner cost just £12 and allow entrance for one dog and two humans. All funds from ticket sales are donated to the Wild at Heart Foundation.
