Candice Brown is joked she will bribe Holly Willoughby, Phillip Schofield and the 'Dancing on Ice' judges with cake every week to ensure she stays in the competition.

The 'Great British Bake Off' champion - who was crowned the winner of the baking series last year - has a conniving plan up her sleeve to make sure she sails through to the final of the skating shoot reboot when the show returns to screens next year.

During her cooking segment on 'This Morning' on Thursday (02.11.17), Holly said: "That means we are going to get cake every week!"

Phillip added with a laugh: "If we don't get cake every week on 'Dancing On Ice', then you're not coming in ... If we do get cake then... well done you've won."

The 32-year-old baker started training for the show yesterday (01.11.17) but, although she hasn't slipped over yet, she hasn't had much experience on ice.

She explained: "Me and my brother sort of when you used to chase each other on the ice but spent all the time on the floor. But the last time I went was with my friends and ended up on the ice for about 20 mins and then ended up down the pub.

"It's amazing. I can't wait. I can't wait. I'm very excited."

However, the lipstick lover will certainly have to put in some hard work during training if she wants to progress in the competition as she'll go up against rugby hunk Max Evans, 33, who was announced as the sixth star to take part in the show.

Bosses of the skating show have kept details of the forthcoming series under wraps, but, so far, it's known that 'Love Island's Kem Cetinay, 'Coronation Street's Brooke Vincent, Jake Quickenden and Bucks Fizz's Cheryl Baker have also signed up.

More celebrities will be announced in due course but, for now, it's been confirmed that acid-tongue Australian Jason Gardiner has reclaimed his position on the judging panel alongside Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean - who previously mentored the contestants but have now switched positions - and Diversity dancer Ashley Banjo.
