The 'Strictly Come Dancing' judges are said to have agreed a deal with ITV for a new programme, which will see the pair take in the delights of the UK, Deadline reports.

The programme is currently titled 'Craig And Bruno's Great British Adventure' and will be produced by RDF, the company behind gameshows 'Tipping Point' and 'The Crystal Maze'.

ITV declined to comment on the report, so it is currently unclear when the show will broadcast or if it has been filmed yet.

Craig and Bruno are the two longest-serving judges on 'Strictly' but last year, the latter was unable to appear in the studio because of his commitments to 'Dancing With the Stars' in the US and travel restrictions imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

And choreographer Craig recently expressed his hope that his friend would be back alongside him for the next series of the BBC Latin and ballroom contest.

He said: "We're hoping that Bruno comes back, we really do want him there in the seat - whether he stays in the seat or not, because he's generally up and down like a yo-yo.

"Of course we want him back. And if he can't come back then he will do what he did last time due to restrictions and just do live across the feed to the studio, which was great fun as it was anyway.

"I'm really looking forward to it. I think the BBC did an amazing job - and they have protocols in place for every single situation. You will get 'Strictly', and a much fuller version this year."

The 56-year-old choreographer also admitted he thought fellow judge Motsi Mabuse - who lives in Frankfurt - would be "absolutely mad" to choose the 'Let's Dance' stage tour over the British programme after it was reported the live run of Germany's version of the show would clash with the UK series.

But Craig insisted it would be possible for Motsi to do both.

He said: "I read that and I think she'd be absolutely mad, darling, doing a German tour rather than 'Strictly'.

"And, like I do in panto - I take the Saturdays off in order to do panto during the week.

"As long as you can get here for the Saturday and it's safe to travel, then she'd be absolutely fine to do both, I'd say."
