Dani Dyer has reportedly been in talks about joining this year's 'Love Island' line up.

The 22-year-old barmaid is at the top of producers' wish list this year after she was forced to pull out of its sister show 'Survival of the Fittest' just one day after entering the lodge in South Africa because she dislocated her shoulder during a challenge.

A source told The Sun Online: "Dani's bright and bubbly personality really captured the attention of the viewers and the 'Love Island' team."

However, although show organisers are desperate to sign her up, the brunette beauty - who is the daughter of 'EastEnders' actor Danny Dyer - is yet to receive a contract.

The insider explained: "They're determined to sign her up and are confident fans of the show will love watching her try to find romance this summer."

However, Dani may need a bit more persuading if she's to take part in the dating show this summer as she recently admitted that it may be "too intense" for her.

She said back in February: "I haven't planned on going on 'Love Island', I think it's a bit too intense for me. I don't think I would be open to doing something like that. I haven't made any plans but it's not a bad rumour though."

And she'll need to win over the support of her dad Danny beforehand because she doesn't think he'd be too happy about her looking for love inside the famous villa.

When host Ranvir Singh mused that her dad would not be too happy about her appearing on 'Love Island', she agreed, saying: "No, he wouldn't. I don't think he could watch it. You know what I mean? Boys talking about me and stuff."
