The former 'EastEnders' actress is hoping to "be back to normal" in the coming days, after she tested positive for COVID-19 last week.

Updating her fans in an Instagram video, she said: "I'm starting to feel a bit more human.

"Hopefully this week I'll be back to normal."

The 47-year-old actress also thanked her pals for offering her food amid her quarantine.

She added: "A massive thanks to Bobby and all my other mates who have stepped up and offered me food, and done bits and pieces for me. I love you all."

Danniella captioned the video: "Starting to feel a bit better but still isolating (sic)"

Last week, the ex-'Hollyoaks' star treated herself to a McDonald's delivery amid her COVID battle, just days after she was left "fuming" that she had contracted the virus.

She said: "Just a quick update to let you know that yes, I've got COVID and I'm really, really poorly. I'm gutted, fuming.

"Then again, people that I know that have had both jabs have got it again so f*** knows if that was worth it about the vaccinations.

"I don't know why people bother because they've gone and got COVID again anyway.

"It seems there's been a massive wave of COVID outbreak yet again and I'm one of the people that have got it.

"So, look after yourselves, look out for each other and stay safe. Take care."

Danniella told fans at the time she was handing control of her socials over to her management.

She captioned her video: "I have covid yet everyone I know seems to be on social media having it as well …. What’s going on ! I’m fuming and so poorly wishing everyone well and from today my social media platforms being handed over to my management. Sending love and light to all see you soon (sic)"
