The 45-year-old singer is on the judging panel for the BBC singing competition - which aims to find five males to star in a musical based on songs by Take That - but has admitted she feels like a "spectator" on the show as she has no idea what will happen during the live final on Saturday (23.02.17).

Asked what audiences can expect from the show, Dannii said: "God knows! I'm there as a spectator as much as anyone else. Robbie Williams is coming on, he's going to do a performance with Take That, all the girls in the audience will be going nuts. The bands that are performing for these winning spots will be working like crazy. They're doing two numbers each, and I'm basically a spectator with the best seat in the house."

Dannii - who is joined on the judging panel by Martin Kemp and the show's creator and Take That singer Gary Barlow - was also pressed about the content of the musical, entitled 'The Band', but remained tight lipped.

She said: "I'm not allowed to say anything. Tim Furthers [the writer] explained the whole musical to me, and it's really good. When he was explaining it to me I was actually laughing and bursting into tears. It's not about Take That, but I can't [say anything]! You'll have to get Tim in here, or Gary."

Meanwhile, Dannii admitted she doesn't know the exact details of when the musical will hit theatres, but said audiences across the country will have a chance to see it before it takes up residency in London's West End.

Speaking on BBC Radio 2's 'The Chris Evans Breakfast Show' on Friday (24.02.17), Dannii said: "I don't know the exact date, but I know they will be touring around the country for a year, and then it comes into the West End."
