The 'EastEnders' star advised one of his podcast listeners to move out of their home after they said their housemate cooked up a dodgy meal and listened to the popular boy band.

Speaking on the 'Sorted with the Dyers' podcast, he said: “The idea of anyone in my vicinity playing McFly is enough for me.

"Listen, I don’t want to start no spat or no beef, but let’s have it right - we can only speak honestly. It hurts my ears. You’ve got to move out. It’s not the food thing, it’s the McFly thing.”

Danny recently revealed it was like "bandit country" in his house during the first national lockdown, admitting his family would chow down on lasagnes at 3am.

The soap star has also found homeschooling his two younger children - Sunnie, 13, and seven-year-old Arty - "impossible" during the latest lockdown, admitting it is "so hard" compared to the first period of quarantine.

Speaking about homeschooling, the actor - who also has daughter Dani, 24, with his wife Joanne Mas - said: "I just can’t do it no more.

"It's impossible, actually, because you can’t turn your house into a school.

"It's far too much work to structure the day from nine until three, give them a little PE lesson, give them a little lunch break. It's b*******."

"The first lockdown was bandit country. There were no rules in our house, we couldn't f****** get our nut around anything.

"We were just hiding from the virus, eating lasagnes at three in the morning. They were going to bed when they wanted, getting up when they wanted. It was free rein. There were no rules or regulations, we just wanted to keep everyone's mental health safe and show love and affection.

"But this time round, it's so hard."
