Saturday Night Takeaway returned to ITV last night (March 31) following the drama surrounding co-host Ant McPartlin, and the wonderful news that his best friend Declan Donnelly and his wife were expecting their first child together.

Dec was hosting the show alone for the first time in his career, and many wondered if he’d be able to pull it off, but it would seem fans were immediately sold. He got through the 90-minute extravaganza with some brilliant sketches, and pointed jokes, and audiences loved every minute.
