The 'This Morning' co-host has joked that he'll be a 'Strictly' "widower" as he has no skills in the kitchen, so while the 57-year-old beauty is competing to lift the glitterball trophy on the BBC One ballroom and Latin contest, he'll be pigging out on fast food.

He said: "She's a domestic goddess and runs the whole house.

"She does everything and when she is not there, well it's going to be be baked beans every night. It will probably be takeaways and they will go out into the bin before she gets home."

However, the British breakfast TV legend is fully supportive of his wife's decision to join the show and will be helping out in every way possible, running her baths and applying after tan lotion.

He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I am very good at running her a bath. You know like Rocky, with the trainer with the towel around his neck?

"Everything is on a back burner for me now. She did call me at 5am to the bathroom to apply lotion on her back.

"I think it was the moisturiser after the fake tan.

"I just go along with it. I am just a 'Strictly' widower."

Despite the 'Loose Women' panellist giving the show ago, the Irishman insists he isn't interested in taking part on 'Strictly' or any other reality show.

He said: "The show is not for me. I wouldn't do any of the reality shows. The bookmakers have made her 66/1 but I think they may eat their words."
