The Olympian had 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' viewers in hysterics as he tried to channel Walford hardman Phil Mithcell (Steve McFadden) at times in the castle, under the tutelage of his campmate, ex-Albert Square star Shane Richie (Alfie Moon), and he could be running into the Queen Vic soon.

He said: "Shane used to make me sound like Phil Mitchell in there. If you want to see that maybe you will see me running around Albert Square.

"I like 'EastEnders' and I have watched it a lot over the years."

Mo also admitted he would be up for doing "something crazy" on the small screen next.

He added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I am open to suggestions to other shows, I could do something crazy. Deep down I am that big kid."

Mo's comments come after an 'EastEnders' writer vowed to pitch a cameo for the Olympian in the soap's next story conference.

Natalie Mitchell wrote: "Am obviously going to pitch Mo Farah to play a guest character at our next #EastEnders story conference. #ImACeleb (sic)"

'I'm A Celebrity' viewers were treated to Mo doing his best Phil impressions on two episodes this week, including on last night's (03.12.20) ep when he got confused about Pat Butcher's (Pam St Clement) name - calling her Bat Putcher.

While in character, Mo joked: "We’re going to melt them down and make some new earrings for Bat Putcher."

Shane couldn't stop laughing, and he asked the gold medallist: "Bat or Pat?"

The soap star later jokingly told Steve to "watch out" because Mo could be after his role.

Speaking in the show's Telegraph, Shane added: "If Steve McFadden is watching, Steve, you’ve got someone on your tails here mate.

"He could be a new Mitchell brother coming in … watch out."
