The 31-year-old musician - who finished fourth on the hit ITV reality show - has gushed over the King of the Jungle, and says they had a father-daughter relationship in the jungle.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, she said: "Harry was like a father figure to me in camp. He is a similar age to my dad.

"He was my biggest supporter in there. Anytime I went to do a challenge he would give me an amazing pep talk. He believed in me so much.

"I used to sit next to Harry in awe. It was storytime with Hazza around the campfire every night.

"He's so much fun. He's got such a zest for life, he's 71 and has had a life-changing experience."

The singer narrowly missed out on a place in the final last night (09.12.18) - on which the former football manager triumphed ahead of runner-up Emily Atack, and third-place John Barrowman.

The 'Sax' hitmaker admitted that fellow Londoner Harry boosted her spirits with his brilliant sense of humour when she was feeling homesick on the show.

She said: "I cried a couple of times in the Bush Telegraph when I thought about my family.

"But Harry made me laugh again. We bonded about being from the East End. We had so much in common."

The former 'X Factor' contestant also admitted she has been very touched by Harry's devotion to his wife Sandra, to whom he has been married for 51 years.

She said: "When he talks about her my heart just melts. After so many years to be so in love, that's what everyone wants."
