The 39-year-old TV star has admitted to gaining weight during the coronavirus lockdown after snacking on whole loaves of bread and butter, but she's determined to get her weight-loss plans back on track as soon as possible.

Gemma - who has lost three stones in recent months and intends to shed three more - told The Sun Online: "I went through a whole tiger bread loaf with butter to cheer myself up.

"Everyone in lockdown turned to food and I certainly did in the first few weeks.

"I probably gained about four pounds, it was nothing major but I have certainly taken it off since then and I've lost about three stone in weight."

Gemma is pleased with her weight-loss efforts so far, but she acknowledges that she's still got some way to go as she works towards her long-term ambition.

She said: "It's been a great amount of weight to lose but I've still got a bit of a way to go if I'm being honest.

"I still want to lose another two or three stones."

Gemma is open about her plans to lose weight, but the TV star intends to remain tight-lipped about how much she actually weighs.

Gemma - who starred on 'The Only Way Is Essex' between 2011 and 2019 - explained: "I don't think it's healthy for people, or younger girls, to say that I keep getting on the scales.

"I think it's great to not be obsessed with that sort of thing. You know it's how you look really and your health really is your wealth."
