The 40-year-old TV star recently moved into'what she has called "The GC Palace" and she's been busy redecorating the property with a few personal touches, including a life size sparkly horse she's named Talulah.

Speaking on 'The Gemma Collins Podcast', she revealed: "I recently moved into my new house The GC Palace, which represents a new beginning for me. As you know I've got my Talulah, my horse. The GC Palace is a place of tranquillity and fabulousness... It's absolutely my sanctuary...

"I did say I wasn't going to have lots of pink things in the house, but it's been taken over my pink things... In a home you have to have your own stuff around you. I'm just kind of still finding my feet with a few things, I think later on this year I do want to kind of put some extra finishing touches, but I'm just enjoying it as it is. It is filled with pink and I loved it...

"It's all pink, it's all fabulous, it's like a shrine to me in this house. I don't know if that's normal or not, but everywhere you go you just know it's my house."

However, Gemma has vowed to be more unique than some of her Essex pals as she has banned all crushed velvet furniture from her new pad.

She explained: "One good thing is there's no crushed velvet in the house. Everyone in Essex seems to have crushed velvet sofas, and there's not one in the house."

The 'Diva Forever' star has also been planning some future adjustments to her home as she's hoping to throw a big 40th birthday bash after she spent the milestone in lockdown.

She added: "I definitely need to start planning my 40th birthday celebration. I was thinking because I have got a kind of biggish sort of garden, I was going to get a big screen, and celebrate it by getting everyone into my garden.

"It's more like a field, and I’m getting them all to sit down and making them watch a load of memorabilia of me. I mean, it's a bit self-indulgent but, come one, I’m only going to be 40 once."
