The reality TV star has stepped into the recording booth to perform a cover of 'Everybody's Free to Feel Good' by Rozalla to hype up MTV's new reality show 'ReFreshers Week presented by Strongbow'.

Revealing her musical ambitions, Gemma said: "I've come out of my mother's you-know-what singing'... I would like to do an album, I would like a Christmas number one, I'm not gonna lie."

The 37-year-old star - who made her name on 'The Only Way Is Essex' - attended the Sylvia Young stage school when she was younger, and she was refreshing her passion as part of a campaign from Strongbow.

The competition will see people have the chance of heading to the company's UK brand Facebook or Twitter, commenting or replying to the pinned post with a favourite memory using @StrongbowUK #RefreshYourStatus - and the most special will be relived for the winner.

Gemma loved being back with a microphone, and joked it even topped her embarrassing Teen Awards tumble.

She added: "Stepping up to the mic was... a big moment for me. Almost as big as when I fell off the stage at the Teen Awards."

Gemma is involved in 'ReFreshers', which will see eight 'students' embark on a journey discovering new places and trying out some challenges laid on by a star-studded cast of celebrity guests.

The star becomes a university lecturer professor of sorts, as she is the subject of a presentation in one of the tasks.

'ReFreshers Week presented by Strongbow' launches on Monday 24th September at 10pm on MTV.
