The 53-year-old TV chef is well known for his potty mouth, and his latest cooking show 'Uncharted' is no exception.

Throughout the series, he says "f***" 212 times, "bloody" 45 times, "s***" on 27 occasions and "a**" 11 times, with a grand total of 302 expletives used.

In his new National Geographic show, Gordon travels the world over seven 44-minute episodes - meaning he swears on average once a minute - to explore different cuisines and compete against other chefs.

Whilst fishing in the south of the US, he said: "I'm in the marshes in South Louisiana where we're collecting crawfish traps and so far the haul is as bad as my language."

The numbers comed after Gordon vowed to give up swearing in 2017 ahead of his daytime show 'Culinary Genius'.

He said at the time: "Mum's already told me her friends will be watching -- it's P and Qs please. I've never been on afternoon TV before. So f*** knows what it's going to be like. I'm really excited about coming up with alternatives to swear words."

Meanwhile, Gordon is reportedly set to cater Brooklyn Beckham's wedding.

The 21-year-old photographer recently got engaged to actress Nicola Peltz, and with the groom's parents, David and Victoria Beckham, planning to spare no expense on the couple's big day, they are keen to ask their close friend to take charge of the meals that will be served to guests.

A source revealed: "David and Victoria want Gordon to oversee the food for Brooklyn's wedding day.

"The families are close pals and Brooklyn has previously raved about Gordon's cuisine. He's top choice to be the chef designing the menu."
