The TV chefs and maître d's popular ITV show - which sees them travel to various destinations to taste and learn about local cuisines - was last on screens in December, with the festive special 'Gordon, Gino and Fred: Desperately Seeking Santa' seeing the hilarious trio journey to Lapland.

And Gordon, 54, has confirmed he and Gino, 44, and Fred, 49, will be back on screens, though they have no idea where or when they will be able to film due to travel restrictions amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

He told RadioTimes.com: “The landscape is still unsure when it comes to travel, so we are still working out where and when, but it will be the usual circus of me and Fred trying to find out about the food and culture whilst Gino completely clowns around causing mayhem wherever we go.

“We always have so much fun. It’s genuinely ridiculous that we get to drive around amazing places, eating, drinking, experiencing true adventures filming it for TV and calling it work – how b***** lucky am I!?”

Last May, it was revealed that their planned stint around Asia was postponed.

Gordon, Gino and Fred were planning to head to Nepal and spend three weeks galavanting across Asia for their hit series, but due to the pandemic - which started in Wuhan in China - and the restrictions on travel, they had to shelve their plans for what was set to be their "most adventurous trip to date".

The programme - which first aired in 2018 - has been packed with drama and hilarious anecdotes.

On their American jaunt, Gino nearly died in a high-speed desert buggy crash.

As well as near-death experiences, the clan also had some naked laughs, with Gordon revealing Gino and Fred stripped off and jumped in his pool at this Los Angeles home, and the nude 'First Dates' star then jumped on the chef's mum.
