The first run of the BBC's dancing competition came to an end in February - when it was won by Ellie Ferguson - and co-host Jordan Banjo has dropped a huge hint that panellists Cheryl, Oti Mabuse and Matthew Morrison could be "coming back" to the popular series.

Jordan told The Sun Online: "As far as I know everyone is coming back.

"I've already heard loads about what's to come.

"We've learnt a lot and I'm sure the show is going to come back bigger and better than last time."

Cheryl was praised for her performance on the show, which saw the singer team up with 'Strictly Come Dancing' professional Pasha Kovalev for a Latin-style routine, and Jordan believes her dancing is of "world-class level".

He added: "Cheryl brought so much to the show as a dancer and dance captain.

"She was wicked to work with and handled everything really well.

"Her performance with the 'Strictly' pros was like a baptism of fire. Getting on stage with them at world-class level and holding her own, she smashed it.

"When you think of Cheryl, you don't automatically think of her being a dancer. She's a global performer and singer.

"She has such a huge list of accomplishments which overshadow her dance ability.

"The fact of the matter is, she is trained and does know what she's doing. She has the experience and understanding of performing in front of thousands of people all over the world - you can't teach someone that."

'The Greatest Dancer' has been confirmed for a second series in 2020.
