TV Line is reporting that creator Shonda Rhimes is now undertaking a search for a new male to take up residence of place of work at Seattle Grace Hospital - apparently one who is well-known, handsome and can appear credible as a gifted surgeon.

ABC President Paul Lee has recently clarified that the 12th season of Grey's Anatomy won't be its last, and the long-running drama series will continue on past it.

Dempsey also spoke out to insist that despite him leaving Grey's, it doesn't mean he's completely retiring from acting.
