The former 'Coronation Street' actress - who has three-year-old Matilda and eight-month-old Delilah with Celtic footballer Scott Sinclair - suggested that it can be hard when so many people only reveal the "picture-perfect moments" of their lives on social media.

She told the latest issue of OK! Magazine: "There's a lot of pressure on mums, which largely comes from only seeing picture-perfect moments on social media.

"Being a parent is exhausting, it requires a lot of juggling and energy so I try to show that side of my life, too."

Despite the challenges of motherhood, the 28-year-old star - who played Rosie Webster before going on maternity leave last summer - explained she is making sure to make the most of "all the time" they have together as a family.

She added: "It's hectic but I'm trying to cherish all the time I have with them because they're growing up so quickly.

"I'm so grateful that I'm a mum to my girls, I love spending time with them and I try to never take it for granted."

Her comments come after Helen recently opened up about her 'Corrie' future and confirmed she would "definitely" be back on the cobbles.

She said: "With Scott's job we're settled in Glasgow at the moment but I'd love to go back to 'Coronation Street'. It's just a matter of when and how I work it.

"I miss everyone so much I definitely will go back. It's just when that will be."

The former 'Celebrity Super Spa' star and the ex-Aston Villa footballer revealed they were engaged last May, and Helen has since said she would love to get married so she can share the same surname as her daughters.

She explained: "For me, it's just important to get married as I want to have the same last name as the girls."
