The 40-year-old TV presenter - who has Chester, six, Belle, nine, and Harry, 11, with husband Dan Baldwin - was overjoyed when her children went back to school on Monday (08.03.21) after homeschooling them during the coronavirus lockdown.

Appearing on 'This Morning', she said: "Oh it’s lovely. Is it nice and quiet in your house too? Well it should be because the kids are back in school guys! It’s finally happened - the day we were waiting for!"

Holly's children were all ready to get back to school and see their friends except for her youngest.

The presenter revealed that Chester would prefer to stay home but still was excited to see his friend at the school gates.

She explained: "Harry was up, Belle got dressed at breakfast. They were ready to go. Chester was the least impressed about everything. He would rather be homeschooling I think, but at soon as he saw his friend Arthur, life was good again."

Holly felt "emotional" when she first saw her children return to school last year following the first round of closures.

She took the day off from 'This Morning' to accompany her children on their first day back in June but was initially "worried" about them.

Holly explained: "It was really good, the school were brilliant and it was all really organised, I worried about it naturally, as a parent you worry about these things."

On their arrival, the children were all disinfected and had their temperatures checked before entering the facility and although Holly's children were delighted to return, she found it emotional.

She continued: "The kids were just so excited to see each other, I got a little bit emotional.

"Because you've been with them the whole time, I knew what they had done, what they've eaten, what they've learnt, it's like having them back as babies, and suddenly they were doing stuff in the day that I didn't know about, so it was relinquishing control."
