The 'This Morning' co-host has joked she would love to see the 'Good Morning Britain' co-presenter struck by the 'EastEnders' actor on the one-off evening show tomorrow night (28.06.18), and Piers admits the atmosphere on the programme could be "a bit tense".

Speaking about the 'Good Evening Britain' guests, Piers said: "We've got Danny Dyer, Jeremy Corbyn, Pamela Anderson, Rebecca Vardy ... and I think having Danny Dyer unleashed anywhere in my proximity given I've been hammering 'Love Island', where his own daughter is currently lurking, I think that could be a bit tense."

Looking at Holly, he said: "You want to see Danny chin me live on TV, admit it?"

Holly replied: "Is it wrong that I do? I'm sort of really hoping that happens."

Piers said: "Well that could happen about 9.20pm tomorrow, so if that doesn't get you watching, nothing will."

Susanna admitted she checked her microphone wasn't on when she was first told, off-air, that Piers would be joining her on the programme.

She said: "The mini tornado - he's an absolute nightmare of a tornado. But he's added something very distinctive to the show.

"And when the ['GMB'] editor first told me about him joining my first reaction [in my dressing room] was, 'Are we still live? Let me take my microphone off,' and after I expressed my opinions without the mic, I said, 'Fantastic, that's brilliant.' "

Piers believes she and Susanna work well together on 'Good Morning Britain' because they have great "chemistry" while co-hosting the show.

Speaking in a joint interview on 'This Morning', he added: "It's all about chemistry ... whether you're judging a talent show on a panel or doing a show like this every day and in people's lives, the chemistry has to work.

"It hasn't always got to be happy smiley, it can be any kind of chemistry ... and if you get a chemistry in television is can be quite a magical thing, good, bad or ugly and my God, it can be good, bad and ugly."
