The 37-year-old aspiring rapper - whose real name is Anna Georgette Gilford - is working at Chancellors Estate Agents in London after splitting from Simon Cowell's Syco label.

She told The Sun: "I decided to go out and get a job because I wanted the structure in my life, my music is still going really well.

"I was really pleased to get the job because before 'X Factor' I really wanted to get into an estate agency, but I couldn't get a break.

"I think it has helped me, I think all of the achievements on 'X Factor' has helped me to get this break with Chancellors being one of the top leading companies."

However, Honey G has insisted that her music is still a priority.

She said: "My music dream is not is by no means out of the picture. I don't want people to get the wrong idea that I've decided to go out and get a job because I don't want to do music anymore and it's not like that at all.

"I'm still running my label, still trying to make it a success, I'm hoping the collab I've got coming up is going to help me sort of push it forwards."

Last year Honey G insisted she was "living the dream" after 'X Factor'.

Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, she said: "It's been amazing. After 'The X Factor' I have done about 16/17 club shows to sell out shows.

"I did the arena tour and uni tour. Done my first show in Manchester. Been really busy. Shooting for a TV advert and got a lot of work cut out for me.

"I am living the dream. My latest single has been released. Really pushing that forward and concentrating on my music right now.

"I've always been a fan of 'The X Factor' and I am really enjoying it. It really starts to hot up when it comes to six chair challenge and the judges are always careful who they select. Hard for the judges. Probably one of the hardest things the judges have to do. It's quite cut throat the challenge.

"I really enjoy it and it's nice to see the judges. I'm very grateful for the judges because if it wasn't for them I wouldn't be where I am now."
