ITVBe will be TOWIE's home
Expanding its free-to-air branch of channels, ITV have announced the launch of their new channel ITVBe, featuring entertainment and reality programming from both the UK and the USA.
The channel will become the exclusive home of the hit, award-winning series The Only Way Is Essex as well as acquired content such as the American Real Housewives franchise.
Hoping to appeal to a younger, female audience, ITVBe is scheduled to broadcast from the end of this year.

Alongside our recently announced new pay channel ITV Encore, this is another important step forward in our strategy to become the most watched, most loved and most talked about family of free and pay channels for every household and every advertiser in the UK.” said Chief Executive Adam Crozier.
ITV is also launching its first pay channel through Sky this year - ITV Encore - which will be home to some of the most successful drama series of recent years and original commissions from 2015 onwards.
