The 29-year-old reality star went under the knife as part of the "final step in [his] transformation", after he dropped a dramatic four stone in weight, and though the star is "feeling so happy" and "more confident" with his appearance now, his only hope is that the surgery will improve his romantic life too.

Speaking to The Sun Online about the operation, the 'Celebs Go Dating' lothario said: "I'm feeling so happy with my nose and so much more confident now. This is just another example of me bettering myself, it looks exactly how I wanted it to. I'm losing all the weight, and in such a great place mentally now, so this feels like the final step in my transformation.

"When I used to kiss girls my nose was so big that it would sometimes end up poking them in the eye. I'd then try and angle it right so we could have a proper kiss, but then it would get caught on her nose too, so I'm really hoping now it's a bit smaller that will no longer be an issue."

The 'The Only Way Is Essex' star has admitted after the two-hour operation with Doctor Frati, which saw the bump on the top of his nose cut down and his nostrils pinched in, he didn't recognise himself and panicked by the huge amount of swelling around his face.

He explained: "I did panic when I first saw it, as there was so much swelling.

"I didn't even recognise myself as obviously it was such a big operation and there was loads of swelling, plus five stitches up each nostril, and it really changed my face for a few days.

"However Dr Frati is one of the best and now some of the swelling has gone down I can clearly see he's given me exactly what I wanted - it's natural, manly, and hasn't changed my face, I still look like me.

"It'll take up to a year for the swelling to completely go, but it's already clear to see that it looks great."

The television personality forked out a whopping £6,500 on the surgery, but he insists he has no plans to have any other modifications done in the future.

He said: "There's no way I'll be getting any more work done.

"I'm really happy with myself now, and just can't wait to be able to get back in the gym after having to take two weeks off."
