James has been working hard to pass his test on the E4 show, which has seen the likes of Mikey North and The Vamps' Tristan Evans on a mission to get behind the wheel.

It was previously reported that his girlfriend Gemma Collins was keen for her man to learn to drive.

A source said: "Arg is really nervous about the week of intensive driving lessons, he has struggled with lessons in the past.

"But Gemma really wants him to pass because she loves cars and thinks it would make their lifestyle much better so he could drive her around for a change."

Arg's good news comes after Gemma revealed she's been standing by her on/off boyfriend after he re-entered rehab.

Alongside a clip of them sharing a motorcycle ride, she tweeted: "Thank you for all the amazing comments & support for my show!

"The response has been overwhelming not to mention trending No1 on twitter! I love Arg very much, He is working so hard. We're back together & happy! #RideOrDie (sic)"
