The former ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star got engaged to Will back in March last year, and has been spending more time with him than ever thanks to the UK spending most of the last 12 months in lockdown amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

And whilst the health crisis has been tough, Jess admits lockdown made her romance with Will “stronger”, and she can’t wait to see what the future has in store for them.

She said: "The current climate has definitely made us stronger as we have spent so much time together so quickly after getting engaged, and proved we can get through that. We are very happy and excited about our future.”

Jess, 35, has used her time in lockdown to plan her and Will’s wedding, but is worried their plans may not go ahead for some time if the UK stays in lockdown.

She added: “We have had to consider every single option of course so it has definitely been upsetting thinking we may have to cancel or postpone. However, we are remaining to keep the faith and hope it goes ahead.”

And whilst their engagement hasn’t been “plain-sailing” so far thanks to the pandemic, Jess is confident their wedding will be “amazing” whenever it finally takes place.

She told Entertainment Daily: “It’s just a case of whether it will go ahead or not. It’s not been the most plain-sailing engagement, put it that way.

“Our heads have been totally scrambled throughout the whole process due to the virus but as I have said, so long as we are healthy, that’s all that matters.

“If the wedding goes ahead it will be amazing.”
