Jessica Plummer stripped naked in the 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' shower to avoid the cameras filming her in the bathroom.

The former 'EastEnders' star ditched her castle clobber when she jumped in the shower, because she knew the reality show's cameras wouldn't be able to broadcast her in the nude on the family programme.

She said: "Just get naked and have your shower and don’t worry, they cannot show it.

"Every time I went in the shower I just took off all my clothes. When you’re cold and you’ve got a swimming costume clinging on to you, it makes you feel colder.

"So I was like, ‘Sod this, they’re not going to put my naked bottom on the show, I’m just going to take it all off’.

"And then the cameras just went ‘zoom’ and they then turned away and I was like, 'Perfect. Every time!' "

But producers wouldn't have had much footage of Jess in the shower anyway - as she only got under the water six times in 18 days, because she was too cold to ditch her clothes.

She said: "I had six showers. I’m disgusting!

"You’re just so cold you don’t want to take off your clothes, you just cannot be bothered."

The 28-year-old star admitted the 'I'm A Celebrity' bathroom stank of fish guts and offal - leftovers from the show's trials - and after she was voted off the programme this week she had a 52-minute soak in the tub.

She added to The Sun newspaper: "I had a bath last night and I was in there for 52 minutes.

"The colour of the bath when I got out ... I don’t even want to talk about the shades of grey."

Jessica - who played Chantelle Atkins on the soap - admitted this week she had "mixed emotions" about being booted off the show, but said she hit a huge turning point on the programme when she tasted success in the Sickening Stalls trial.

She said: "Going back to camp and being able to announce with Shane that we had got 12 stars, I feel like I've checked off such a big tick box on my bucket list. To be able to do that for camp and my own personal self. I was very sick but it was worth it."
