The JLS singer and his wife Rochelle Humes joined the ITV daytime show in August 2013 as regular stand-in presenters, but Marvin says he will no longer be filling in on sofa, but his former Saturdays singer spouse will continue to be part of the wider 'This Morning' team.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper's TV Biz column, he revealed: "Rochelle is doing so well on ‘This Morning’. I now feel that’s her home now.

“I decided a while ago that I wasn’t going to be on ‘This Morning’ anymore.”

As well as Marvin, 36, confirming his departure from 'This Morning', long-time stand-in host Eamonn Holmes - who mostly co-presented with his wife Ruth Langsford, and on occasions Rochelle - recently left the programme and is set to accept a journalistic role at new television station GB News.

Marvin wishes Eamonn, 62, all the best in his new job, as he has become a good friend to him and Rochelle, 32.

The 'Beat Again' hitmaker said: "Eamonn is one of the best presenters in the country and he’ll continue to have an incredible career. He’s become a good friend from working with Rochelle."

Following the news of Eamonn's departure, it has been reported that Rochelle is the favourite to take over from the Northern Irish broadcaster and fill in on the show more and more when regular presenting pair Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield are off.

Speaking to OK!, a source previously said: "Bosses love Rochelle Humes and I wouldn’t be surprised if she was the first person they spoke to about the slot.

“She always impresses when she stands in for Holly and has a great working relationship with the team.

“She’s exactly the sort of person they see as the future of the show.”

Although they may no longer be co-hosting ‘This Morning’ together, that hasn’t stopped the couple from being on screen togetehr.

In 2019, the BBC announced new music quiz show ‘The Hit List’ which aired on Saturday night’s on BBC One and was co-hosted by Marvin and Rochelle.

In the show, three pars of contestants go head to head as their knowledge of music is put to the test.

After a successful run, they are gearing up to host it’s Christmas special this month.
