Former 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' stars Joey Essex, Vicky Pattison, and Charlie Brooks are being lined up for potential returns to the show.

The trio are all expected to have some involvement in the upcoming 20th series - which is taking place at Gwrych Castle in north Wales this year rather than the Australian jungle, due to coronavirus pandemic restrictions - but it's not yet known if that will be to present a trial, spend the night in camp, or as part of one of the programme's new-look features.

A castle source said: "ITV producers love having a trick or two up their sleeve.

"What better way to celebrate 20 series of the show than getting some of the stars of yesteryear to take part in some way?

"As always with the jungle, they’re keeping their cards close to their chest and have yet to decide exactly what they will do with Charlie, Vicky and Joey, but it could be any number of things."

All three are said to have been isolating, just like the campmates, and former 'The Only Way is Essex' star Joey is said to have been taken to the site.

The source added to The Sun newspaper: "There’s even a chance they’ll isolate, travel to Wales, and not even get used.

"But it’s three great options for producers to have in the locker."

Ex-'Geordie Shore' star Vicky, 32, and former 'EastEnders' star Charlie are both previous Queens of the Jungle.

Charlie, 39, was crowned on 2012's 12th series, and three years later Vicky took home the title on the 15th series.

Joey, 30, competed in the 13th series in 2013, but could only finish in fourth place, as Westlife singer Kian Egan triumphed.
