The 'Ex on the Beach' star has confirmed he dated the 26-year-old lawyer for two years, and has heaped praise on her as one of the "kindest" people he knows, and insisted she will "surprise" viewers.

He shared an Instagram selfie with Rosie and added the caption: "Just to clear it up me & Rosie were together for 2 years. Shes one of the most hard working, funny and kindest people I've ever known & I was lucky enough to be with her. She deserves to win #LoveIsland & I'm so happy she's got it, everyone get behind her! She's will surprise you all! (sic)"

Rosie entered the villa last night (06.06.18) alongside fellow new Islander Georgia Steel, much to the original series four girls' disappointment.

Dani Dyer was particularly apprehensive about the double addition to the villa because she had dumped Jack Fincham just moments before the news broke that two new women would be joining the show.

She said: "I feel like we're so vulnerable. I'm not going to worry because if this is my last few days in here at least I've enjoyed myself."

Hayley Hughes, who has clashed with Eyal Booker, who she coupled up with earlier this week, also admitted she was in a "very vulnerable situation" due to the new arrivals.

Samira Mighty added: "I'm like, this is a game, this has to happen, but I'm a bit worried about my place here now."

The original girls watched on anxiously from an upstairs terrace as the lads hosted a welcoming party for Georgia and Rosie.

As she watched them all flirt up a storm, Dani said: "I feel like I'm watching my boyfriend cheat on me."

West End performer Samira was left green with envy when she found out Georgia is a drama student.

She said: "Now I feel jealous, I feel weird. I hope she wasn't on the West End.

"She's ballsy. She would nick your man. She would take him from your table and buy him a drink."

'Love Island' continues tonight (07.06.18) at 9pm on ITV2.
