Jordan North's friend William Hanson had therapy so he could watch his pal on 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!'.

The 31-year-old etiquette expert underwent hypnotherapy to cure his fear of rats because he couldn't even look at one on the TV beforehand, and he joked Jordan should've had "quite a lot" of treatment before going on the show, too, after he was left petrified during his opening few trials on the ITV show.

When asked if it is true that he had therapy so he could watch 'I'm A Celebrity', William replied: "Yes."

And he joked: "Jordan really should've had quite a lot of therapy before he did the programme.

"But I'm also petrified of rats and mice. Even if one comes on the screen I can't cope.

"As we know with 'I'm A Celebrity', rats play quite a pivotal role.

"So I thought in order for me to watch Jordan, I'm going to have to have hypnotherapy.

"So I did, and it has worked."

William has joked he will be sending Jordan the bill for his therapy sessions.

He quipped: "There is an invoice with Jordan's name on it for when he comes out."

Despite Radio 1 DJ Jordan being terrified of a number of things, William has still been voting for him to do the trials, but he does get "a pang of guilt" while watching his friend face his fears.

Speaking on 'Lorraine', he added: "I am voting for him.

"I feel slightly conflicted doing that, because then you see his little face look slightly horrified that he's having to do it I do get a pang of guilt."
