The 42-year-old television personality will reportedly show off her cooking prowess to judges Gregg Wallace and John Torode on the BBC competitive cooking show, after she began filming her appearances this week.

An insider told The Sun: "Katie’s really excited for people to see a different side to her - she’s actually a really good cook, and wants to show off her kitchen skills.

"She won’t crumble under the pressure of cooking for Gregg Wallace and John Torode, because she has to cook for five fussy kids every night!"

Little else is known about the upcoming series, but for Katie, the news comes after the success of her recent BBC documentary, ‘Katie Price: Harvey and Me’, which followed her life with her 18-year-old disabled son Harvey.

And Katie is also set for another documentary series which will see her learning the skills needed to become a Volunteer Emergency Responder.

An insider previously reported: : "It'll be along the lines of Emma Willis' show, Delivering Babies, or Famous and Fighting Crime. Katie will learn all the real life skills she needs and they won't go easy on her because she's a celebrity. It's something Katie's wanted to do for years and she's really looking forward to filming next month."

Whilst a representative for Katie added: "Katie has made no secret of her dreams of becoming a paramedic. It is true these dreams are set to become a reality as we are engaged in talks to film Katie's own documentary following her training and on the front line as she responds to emergency calls."

And Katie - who has Harvey, Junior, 15, Princess, 13, Jett, seven, and six-year-old Bunny, from past relationships - previously opened up about her five year paramedic training course.

Speaking about her training, she shared: "I'm training to be a paramedic, did you know that? Before I was a model I was actually training to be a registered nurse. Now I've been put on a five year course, I've got four years to go and I'm a trained paramedic. So what I'm saying is that I have seen many bits and bobs."
