The 30-year-old TV star has revealed Christopher's controversial remarks about the Holocaust reduced her to tears in the diary room, and Katie revealed she has also had to see a psychologist.

Katie explained: "My great-grandmother Katie, who I'm named after, and her husband Sydney escaped the concentration camps. They were living in Poland and escaped while their town was under siege. It was incredibly difficult for them but luckily they got out.

"But they lived and breathed the horror of it. It's very real to me. So there you go, Christopher Biggins , you nasty, nasty person. It's disrespectful to me, my ancestors and every family who have history tied to this dreadful place."

Christopher was kicked out of the house after he said to Katie: "You had better be careful or they will put you in a shower or take you to a room!"

Katie was also similarly shocked by Christopher's claims that bisexuals are to blame for AIDS.

She told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "We were all a bit surprised at how loose-lipped he was.

"I mean, he's a national treasure and he's excited and happy and fun. But there were some crazy things he said that made us turn our heads."

Katie's comments come shortly after she revealed she was initially unsure why Christopher had left the Big Brother House so abruptly.

She previously said: "I didn't know what happened to be really honest with you.

"I was really concerned it was something to do with his family, so we were all just really, really shocked. Either that or he was just in it for a week to have a good time for a week?"
