The 32-year-old artist departed the Channel 5 show in the early hours of this morning (02.10.18), and housemates have been told about her exit.

A 'Big Brother' spokesperson said: "Kay decided to leave the 'Big Brother' house in the early hours of this morning. The other housemates are aware."

Further details are yet to have been revealed about Kay's exit, but it will be shown on tonight's episode.

Kay - who was up for eviction this week - recently expressed concerns about being "misunderstood by the public", and admitted she felt "trapped".

Speaking in the Diary Room at the weekend, she said: "I'm struggling again. I just think sometimes I'm in the wrong place and I don't want to be misunderstood by the public.

"I just really feel that I'm going to be eaten alive. I don't want to put myself through that because I will just be running for the fire exits.

"I just feel so trapped. It's like, what's that saying? You've made your bed, now lie in it."

Last month, Kay admitted she was "struggling" with 'Big Brother' after defending outspoken Lewis G.

She said: "I'm struggling with the whole experience, to be honest. F**k it, Big Brother.

"I don't want to be in an environment that begins to be toxic and people are talking about people.

"I can't go face the people. I can't go face Cameron, he's just a very young boy that says flippant things."

Kay's 'Big Brother' exit will air on tonight's episode at 10.15pm on Channel 5.
