The 38-year-old singer has been a regular visitor to 'Dancing On Ice' to support her ex-husband Brian McFadden, but hit it off with the 'Only Way is Essex' star when they met backstage.

Kerry has been offering Gemma tips on yoga and meditation, and has even been recommending crystals to keep her calm and stress-free while training for the show.

A source told the Sunday People newspaper: "It sounds a bit woo and wacky, but Kerry's obsessed with meditating and yoga and it's helped her so much with her stress and anxiety.

"Kerry has been choosing crystals she thinks will help Gemma cope with the pressures of 'Dancing on Ice' and all the diva accusations she's had."

The pair regular speak via FaceTime, with Kerry helping Gemma with guided meditation and sending positive energy to her.

The insider added: "Kerry holds the crystal to her heart and says the affirmation for Gemma. Different stones and colours help with different areas of life."

Kerry isn't the only person Gemma has turned to in order to help with the energy surrounding the show, as it was recently revealed the 38-year-old reality star had brought in a shamanic practitioner named Sue to cleanse the rink of negativity following her painful fall last month.

In a video shared on Instagram, she said: "I've brought a psychic into the ice today to cleanse the energy for my performance on Sunday.

"There's very bad energy in this corner and it's affecting the performance. We are gonna banish out all the bad energy for this Sunday. Hell yeah!"

Gemma also revealed clips of Sue moving around the studio chanting and carrying out rituals to "cleanse" the space.

The 'TOWIE' star added: "She's banishing away the negative energy since my trauma of the fall on the ice.

"She's getting me at one with the ice again. Go on, darling!"

The ITV show's associate creative director Dan Whiston previously suggested that Gemma's fall has "cursed" the other contestants, including Melody Thornton, Jane Danson and Wes Nelson, after they also suffered injuries and set backs.

He recently said: "It was really, really awful.

"It was almost as if Gemma's fall from last week's show ... it was a sign of things to come. Everyone was getting injured.

"She's got black knees, they're so bruised, she hurt her chest as well. People are pushing the boundaries so there are going to be these injuries."
