Just two months after finding love in the 'Love Island' villa, the reality TV couple have called time on their romance.

Laura told Metro.co.uk: "Sadly Jack and I have both decided to go our separate ways due to such busy schedules right now and not having the time to spend together.

"Feel truly blessed to have got to share my Love Island experience with him and to have made a friend for life. We will carry on supporting each other on this journey and I can't wait to see where it takes us."

Jack added: "We met in extraordinary circumstances and had an amazing time getting to know each other, both whilst in the villa and outside of it but our lives are currently taking us in different directions. We will remain friends and I will support her in whatever she does. I wish her all the best. See you soon surfer girl!"

23-year-old pro-surfer Laura and 22-year-old personal trainer Jack departed the villa as a couple, but she previously admitted they had been "taking it slower" since they re-entered the real world.

After they left the villa, Laura said: "We're not officially boyfriend and girlfriend. Since we came out we are taking it slower.

"We're just not rushing. We've seen other things go wrong, but we do have genuine feelings. I trust him and I will trust him until I have reason not to."
