The 28-year-old television personality - who starred in the ITVBe series for two years when it made its debut in 2010 - has admitted she will make her comeback on the TV show in series 17, and is looking forward to shedding her previous persona and showing viewers the "real" her.

Speaking about the forthcoming venture on 'Loose Women' on Wednesday (03.08.16), the brunette beauty said: "I was meant to be in this series but couldn't for personal reasons. But I will be back next series. I said I'd love to come back as Lauren. I've always been in a relationship or had drama. I can be one of the girls. There's a load of things I can do. I can help the others girls."

Despite making a cameo appearance in Chloe Sims' salon earlier this year, Lauren will join the remaining two original cast members Lydia Bright and James 'Arg' Argent when she returns to the programme later this year.

Meanwhile, Lauren - who dated Mark on and off for 11 years, in which time she claimed she was forced to abort his baby - has completely moved on from the 'Take Me Out: The Gossip' host and is thrilled he's now happily married to former 'Coronation Street' star Michelle Keegan.

She explained: "Can I please put this to bed from the horse's mouth. That ship set sail so long ago... I've moved on, he's moved on. He's happy, I'm happy. I'm so happy for him and I'm happy in my own life. I don't regret anything I've done in the past good or bad. I've learned from it."
