The former 'Coronation Street' star - who played Michael Rodwell on the cobbles from 2014 to 2016 - shared a snapshot of the sweet present on social media as he hit the milestone on Friday (12.10.18).

With a collage of newspaper clippings and snapshots in the background, it also featured a message - "SIXTY FIVE IS ONLY 25 IN SCRABBLE" - spelled out in letters from the classic word game.

Les - who was previously married to 'Britain's Got Talent' judge Amanda Holden for five years until 2000 - tied the knot with third wife Claire Nicholson nine years ago, and together they have a daughter Eleanor Grace, 10, and seven-year-old son Thomas Christopher.

The actor also got a nice send off when he left 'Corrie' two years ago, when Claire and his co-stars threw him a surprise party.

He said at the time: "Sue Cleaver and my wife Claire hashed a surprise party, and it was good because all my friends were there so it was fantastic, Bruno (Langley) made a lovely birthday cake for me."

Les - whose character suffered a heart attack - left the show before the scenes, which were shot months in advance, actually aired on screen and he has admitted he accidentally stumbled on set with his wife a few days later while the cast were shooting his alter-ego's "bizarre" funeral.

He explained: "Claire and I went in to the canteen a few days after and everyone was dressed up so I said: 'Why is everyone dressed up in black?'

"And then I was like: 'Oh it's Michael's funeral', then Claire and I went on to the street and there was Michael's hearse. It was the most bizarre experience, it was really weird to look and think that's possibly... well it's my character in that coffin."
