Speaking in a new radio interview with KPBS, actor Leslie Jordan says that a 10-episode revival of Will & Grace has already been commissioned by NBC for which he will be involved, but the television network has declined to verify whether Jordan’s comments are true.

Running from 1998, Will & Grace completed eight hugely successful seasons, but came to a close in 2006. Debra Messing and Eric McCormack starred in the titular roles, whilst Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally rounded out the leading cast.

There has been talk of the show coming back to the small screen for some time now, but nothing has ever been set in stone. Jordan’s comments however would lead us to suspect that official plans are now being put into place, but until NBC says something themselves, we don’t want to get ahead of ourselves.

The actor also claimed that the revival is set to premiere ‘next season’, though he didn’t confirm if that meant fall 2017 or winter 2018. The latter date seems more of a likely premiere if shooting doesn’t begin until the summer.
