The 29-year-old actress is best known for playing Ruby Allen on 'EastEnders' but after leaving the show in 2006 and finishing fourth in 'Strictly Come Dancing' the same year, the brunette beauty has concentrated on stage acting.

But now Louisa is ready to go into the Australian jungle and take on the dreaded Bushtucker Trials on the ITV reality series.

Speaking to the new issue of Star magazine, she said: "I would do the jungle because my friend, Vanessa White did it last year and loved it. It's probably the only one left that I haven't done."

Louisa's theatre work has included playing Rizzo in the UK touring production of 'Grease' and is starring in new production 'The Gulf' and admits she likes to feel nervous before treading the boards because it makes her focused.

She explained: "I think the moment you're not nervous about something, it means you don't care anymore. I still got nervous doing 'Grease' every night."

And whilst the star would never rule out a return to BBC One soap 'EastEnders', she admits it isn't on the top of her priority list and would like to branch out into different work.

She said: "You get more out of theatre but some of the best jobs I've done have been TV and film. I'd like to go back to TV now, I'm ready to do a drama. People still think of me as a teenager, so it's quite hard to get those roles. I would [return to 'EastEnders'] because I loved it and it's a great TV show. But it's not top of my list."
