The 22-year-old daughter of 'EastEnders' actor Danny Dyer had grown close to the stationery salesman after the pair coupled up on the Monday night's (04.05.06) launch, but their short-lived romance appeared to be on the rocks after Dani was reduced to tears following last night's (05.06.18) discovery that Jack had cheated in his previous relationships.

And the barmaid admits she is "ready to find something new".

During a tense conversation in the garden on tonight's (06.06.18) episode, he asks the aspiring actress: "You don't think any less of me do you? Be honest though because I hated that. It's not a good look is it?"

She responds: "No, obviously. Initially I just thought 'have I just gone for the same type that I always go for?' It just threw me off a little bit."

Not keen to filter her feelings, Dani admits that the recent revelation has left her a little bit wary.

She adds: "I like you as a person, we've been getting on and stuff. It's not a problem. I don't think I have a problem with you about it because nothing's going on yet. It just threw me off a little bit.

"Obviously it's just a little bit...It makes me think 'I've gone for the same geezer that all my mates say 'Dan don't!' You've got to understand that."

In the Beach Hut, Jack remains hopeful the pair have a future, following their chat.

He says: "If me and Dani did give it a little bit of a chance, I think it would be worth it. I'm going to just carry on how we are and I think me and Dani will be sweet, I think we'll be alright."

However, things don't appear too positive as Dani appears to reach a conclusion on their fleeting romance during a conversation with some of the other girls.

She reveals: "I spoke to Jack last night and obviously I could never judge someone by their past because I'm not like that. Realistically, if I was on the outside world and my mates went 'listen Dan, he's cheated on his girlfriend' that would be an off-put for me.

"I've got to talk to Jack later. I just don't get butterflies around him. He's a lovely looking lad and he's very funny, and any other girl would be lucky to have that. But not me because, I've had that. I do feel ready to find something new and that's what it is. New and fresh, not used."

'Love Island' continues tonight on ITV2 at 9pm.
