The couple have been together for just nine days but are not hanging around when it comes to making future plans as they take their fledgling relationship to a new level this evening, when the 20-year-old nuclear systems design engineer suggests the 29-year-old air stewardess could move in with him.

On their first joint venture outside the villa tonight, Laura says: "I came on 'Love Island' to find love, and if we did find that then it would be amazing. I just think everything will fall into place after. I don't really know where I'm going to live I guess, I'm just open to..."

An excited Wes then says: "With me. I live with [my mum and dad] at the moment but I'm looking to move out this year so I don't want to go somewhere and have a one bedroom on my own, we'll see what happens."

Laura adds: "You're basically asking me to move in with you already!"

Their loved-up conversation then escalates further as the couple - who made a beeline for each other on last week's launch episode - discuss having kids in the future.

Laura says: "I really want to have a family but I would never pressure you into it."

Wes replies: "There's no pressure because I want the exact same thing. I'm on the same page as you."

Laura then asks Wes if he would describe himself as a "womaniser" and while insisting that is certainly not his "priority" when he leaves the villa, she admits she may need to keep him on a "tight leash".

But she isn't worried about the nine-year age gap between the pair because Wes can keep her feeling "young".

She says: "I don't care, I love a little toy boy. You can keep me young, it's good ... I feel like you might be a bit naughty to be honest, I just think you're too good to be true.

"I've had loads of jobs since I was really young. I used to work in the tax office, and then I did a bit of glamour modelling is that an issue?"

He replies: "No."

Elsewhere in tonight's episode, Laura warns Adam Collard about his conduct in the villa after he came under fire from the other girls for asking Megan Barton Hanson why she didn't choose him for a date, despite him being coupled up with Rosie Williams.

She tells him: "I just want you to realise, with Kendall as well as Rosie now, they are both really good girls, they really liked you, obviously they wouldn't pine after you in that way and forgive you if they didn't.

"I just want you to have a bit of a kick up the a**e. It's fine if you decide then that you don't like Rosie, you don't have to like everyone but it's just these girls have feelings as well and the way that you've acted is just stupid and you don't need to be like that.

"You don't want to be with someone who is insecure, you've already said that, but your actions are making girls insecure. Just take some responsibility."

'Love Island' airs at 9pm tonight on ITV2.
