The 29-year-old star - who has 10-month-old son Roman with Ryan Thomas - was unable to tell if she had postnatal depression as she welcomed her son amid the coronavirus pandemic lockdown, and while she loves her boy "more than anything", she found sleep deprivation to be "torture".

Asked if she had "any form of postnatal depression" during a Q&A on her Instagram Stories, she said: "Maybe. It's hard to tell with lockdown on top of being a first time mum. I love Roman more than anything in the world but I found being a new mum really tough.

"Sleep deprivation is torture! Then add on that a global pandemic, a baby with allergies & tongue tie. Lockdown parents u deserve a medal (sic)"

Now, Lucy wishes she reached out to others for support and gave fans who could be suffering the same experience some advice.

Asked how she coped with sleep deprivation, she replied: "I didn't! I wish I had reached out for help looking back. Please keep in contact with people who will support u and know it will 100% get better!

"Nap if poss, don't worry about the cleaning it can wait & don't worry if u can't even face getting out your pj's somedays. Sending u love super mama (sic)"

The former 'TOWIE' star recently said she found it tough to breastfeed her newborn son, but she now believes it is one of the "most rewarding" things she has done.

She explained: “I’ve climbed a mountain, cycled part of the Tour de France, survived 30 days on a deserted island, but breastfeeding and being a new mum has been the hardest and most rewarding thing I’ve ever done. “I hadn’t done a lot of research on breastfeeding beforehand, which I regret, but the lack of sleep and the extreme highs and extreme lows of the hormones were a rollercoaster for me."
