The former 'TOWIE' star believes his sister should be crowned Queen of the Castle on this year's ITV show as she has proven that "busy mums" can be tough.

He told the Daily Mirror: “In our eyes she’s already won but I’d be so happy for her if she was officially crowned Queen of the Castle.

"She’s doing it for all the busy mums out there and to show just how resilient they are. She’s the only woman left and I really hope people vote for her.”

The 35-year-old author has always been there for her brother and he could not be prouder after seeing her be "loving" and "caring" self on television.

Mario added: “She is doing incredible, I’m so proud of her. The Gi that everyone is seeing is the Gi that I know - loving, funny, caring and warm to anyone she meets.

“When I’ve had my issues in the past with mental health, she was always there for me as a shoulder to essentially cry on. That’s just what she’s like, she always wants to make sure other people are happy and are being looked after. She’s a brilliant mum and you can really see it.”

Giovanna - who has Buzz, six, Buddy, four, and two-year-old Max with Tom Fletcher - became the last female campmate standing after Jessica Plummer left the show but Tom knows Giovanna can handle the men as she's used to a house full of boys.

He said: “We’re doing alright, we miss mumma obviously, but we’re doing good, very proud. I guess she’s kind of in her element, she’s swapped a house full of boys for a castle full of boys. She’ll get on fine, it’s what she’s used to.”
