The ITV talk show has had an all-female panel for the entirety of the show’s 21-year history, but in a special episode set to celebrate International Men’s Day on Thursday (19.11.20), the usual panel will be swapped out for a host of male faces.

Former JLS star and TV host Marvin will be joined by ‘Love Island’ narrator Iain, singer Ronan, and radio presenter Roman for the one-off episode, which is part of ‘Loose Women’s ongoing Stand by Your Men campaign, focusing on male mental health.

The four fellas will be talking about a range of relevant issues, and will even be chatting to Hollywood superstar Matthew McConaughey.

Speaking about the episode, Marvin told The Sun newspaper: “With everything going on in the world now, there’s never been a more important time for men to be open about their mental health.

“I’m looking forward to anchoring the first ever ‘Loose Men’ and raising awareness of the importance of men opening up like women do.”

The boys will also be hoping to convince other men to tackle their concerns, particularly as the Covid pandemic has increased mental health issues.

Iain added: “We know that men typically find it harder to discuss their anxieties, especially with other blokes.

“I’m looking forward to changing the conversation and can’t wait to join the other ‘Loose Men'.

“Hopefully we can inspire those watching to talk about their feelings too and not keep things bottled up.”

‘Loose Women’ has previously featured honorary “Loose Men” - including regular panelist Stacey Solomon’s partner Joe Swash and TV’s Judge Rinder - on the show, but this Thursday will mark the first time the panel has been entirely made up of men.
